Piacevole soggiorno

Ci siamo trovati molto bene. La casa è bella, spaziosa per due famiglie e ben accessoriata. Arredi e servizi sono un po' vintage ma funzionali e comodi. La piscina è ben tenuta, grande e molto piacevole, così come il giardino. La zona, per quanto non di molto fascino, è comoda per raggiungere varie spiagge e località di intetesse. C'è una custode a disposizione per ogni esigenza di manutenzione. La pulizia delle stanze e dei bagni era buona, migliorabile la pulizia della cucina.

Bellissima esperienza!

Bellissima esperienza, abbiamo passato una settimana piacevole. La sig.ra Tatiana è sempre disponibile per ogni necessità o informazione, la casa è in posizione tranquilla ma comunque vicina ai piccoli centri di Gavorrano e Scarlino e a 15 minuti dalle prime spiagge. La casa è molto grande, con un giardino enorme e una bellissima piscina privata.

Gute Zeit mit Abstrichen

Ich buchte das Haus last minute. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter, Charles Fryer, war super. Meist schnelle Reaktionen und aussagekräftige Antworten. Das Haus liegt zwei Minuten von der Autobahn entfernt am in Bagno di Gavorrano. Es ist mE in den 1970er Jahren als gebaut worden (bis zum Dach alles betoniert) und wurde von der Familie sicherlich immer selber bewohnt. Jedenfalls sprechen die Einrichtungsgegenstände dafür: einerseits zT teure und gute Stücke, andererseits deutlich in die Jahre gekommen. Z.B. die Schränke sind mit Stoff ausgeschlagen, was exklusiv ist. Aber nach vielen Jahrzehnten müffeln diese dann doch sehr deutlich. Das Haus ist wirklich groß. Unten die Küche und das riesige Wohnzimmer mit einem großen Esstisch aus schwerem Holz. Oben dann die vier Schlafzimmer und eine kleine Küche. Da man zwei Schlafzimmer und Küche durch eine Türe abtrennen kann, können befreundete Paare/ Familien sich das Haus problemlos teilen. Der Star ist aber tatsächlich der Pool. Er ist groß, super zum Schwimmen, man kann darin stehen und liegt idyllisch etwas abseits vom Haus. Das Grundstück ist mit 1 ha sehr groß und vor allem toll mit Bäumen bepflanzt. In der Küche ist genügend Geschirr etc. vorhanden. auch Nudelmaschinen, Wok - uns hat aber ein Toaster gefehlt. Es gibt eine Spül- und eine Waschmaschine. Beide älter, aber funktionierten einwandfrei. Der Wäschetrockner ist ein Wäscheleine vor dem Haus. Da die Sonne den Beton des Daches sehr aufheizt und dieser die Hitze nachts ins Innere ableitet, ist es gut, dass in den Schlafzimmern (wir nutzten nur 2) Klimaanlagen installiert sind. Diese funktionierten einwandfrei und sind sehr leise. Auch im Wohnzimmer ist eine Klimaanlage. An- und Abreise findet unter Aufsicht von Tatiana statt, der Dame, die sich um alles kümmert und den Pool reinigt. Wir hatten mal eine Bitte und in wenigen Stunden hatte sich Tatiana darum gekümmert. Sie war wirklich sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Die weniger schönen Dinge: vor allem , dass keine Moskitonetze an den Fenstern/Türen waren. Es gibt eine Unmenge an Mücken. so dass man zB die Schlafzimmer schlecht lüften kann. Bei offenem Fenster schlafen no way. Die Küche wird sehr heiß (keine AC). Die Sauberkeit würde ich max. mit besenrein beschreiben. Die Lage ist gegenüber einer Autowerkstatt, am Ortseingang, in Hörweite der SS1 sowie 200m von einer Bahnstrecke. Zu den Stränden, Städten etc. kurze Strecken. Im Ort guter Coop und Pizzarien. Unterm Strich: empfehlenswert!

Beautiful house and swimming pool

What a beautiful house! We stayed here in late July, and had a wonderful time exploring the area and relaxing in the gorgeous swimming pool. There is a lovely big garden tended by the friendly Enzo. Tatiana is also really friendly and helpful! The house feels really spacious and the decoration is lovely. We booked a trip to Elba island which is beautiful and also visited Cala Violina. We celebrated our anniversary at a restaurant in Massa Maritima and enjoyed beautiful views. A very memorable stay, thank you!

Beautiful villa in large garden full of trees with amazing swimming pool. Strongly recommend!

We had really great stay in villa Pietraserena, enjoyed a lot. Its a lovely place, the swimming pool is just huge and the whole garden extremely large. Villa itself is very comfortable, clean, you will find in everything you need for pleasant holidays. The host Tatiana is very nice person and helped us with everything we needed. We were two families with two kids and we all had enough comfort. We enjoyed specially grilling evenings with excelent Tuscany wine.. Gavorrano is small and calm village which gave us everything needed, supermarket is 2 mins by car, there are also some restaurants or pizzerias 10 mins by walk. Also we visited so many beautiful places in Tuscany, Sienna, Volterra, San Gimignano, Montalcino - most of places from 1 to 1 and half hour drive. Nearest beaches are 15 mins by car, we loved most Marrema beaches in natural park. But one week was just not long enough, we would love to stay longer

Lovely spacious house and grounds and the pool was fantastic

We shared this property with friends for two weeks and had a fantastic time. The house and grounds and plenty big enough so we all could have our own space and all be all together. The Pizza oven is great and the pool was very well looked after and a great size so you could actually swim in it. Charles the owner was very warm and answered questions quickly and made sure we had everything to make it a comfortable stay. The Location is also very beautiful and the house is only 15 min drive to sandy beaches and 5 min drive to the local village where there are shops and plenty of restaurants. We would highly recommend this property And are thinking of returning next year.

Beautiful Home

Villa Pietraserena is a beautiful home and provided us with a fantastic base to explore the surrounding area. After busy days it was wonderful to come back to such a tranquil place to recover.

Large, comfortable villa in beautiful Tuscany

Our family of five made Villa Pietraserena our home for the last two weeks in August 2018. This is a charming traditional Italian home with more than enough space to easily accommodate our family and more thanks to its generous size. The air-conditioning in each room was a welcome relief from the heat and humidity. We spent many days lounging around and swimming in the large pool. Most evenings we dined al fresco in the stunning garden, making good use of the supplied wood fire barbecue. There is also a beautiful outdoor Pizza oven and gas barbecue. The property is well situated with a large Co-Op just down the road in Gavoranno town centre with a wonderful array of wines and local fresh produce. There is also a pharmacy and several really good restaurants in easy walking distance. The locals were all friendly and welcoming and Tatiana (the caretaker) made us feel extremely welcome and made herself available to answer any questions we had throughout our stay. The Villa is perfectly situated for travel to major cities such as Pisa, Florence and Sienna - and more locally, the stunning hilltop towns of Massa Marittima and Scarlino, amongst others – all within a 20 / 30 minute drive, making a perfect base for day trips. You are never far from beaches such as Follonica which has lovely sidewalk cafes, cocktail bars and a variety of shops. Castiglione della Pescaia with its beautiful white sand and amazing sunsets & sunrises sporting views of Elba and Giglio islands, making this our favourite beach by far! If you are into your wines, there is a plethora of vineyards available for wine tasting which makes for a stunning day out. Being so close to major centers made a day trip to Elba possible which was possibly the highlight of our trip and is highly recommended. This villa makes for a wonderful family holiday or for people travelling with friends and we cannot recommend it highly enough.
